Jackś Birthday

This story is about Jackś Birthday. In the story his Dad and Mum give him a car. Jack is happy about his birthday present.

I read the story ´Jackś Birthday´ today with Vanessa and Mr Adams. Vanessa is helping me learn English.  I think English is OK, but it is hard for me. I have been in NZ for one year, before I came here I did not speak any English, so it is a long road for me. I have to read books to help me, even though they seem a little young for me. But if I keep trying hard and people help me, I think my English will get better really quickly.

 How do you think you would cope if you went to Brasil and had to be speaking and writing in Portuguese everyday?
