Mr Williamson helps the class and the teacher, he is a student teacher in our class for this term. He is nice, kind and funny. He is tall and slim, with brown hair. I hope he can stay for a long time because he makes our class fun.

Giant Squid

Today I read about the giant squid from the article titled ´Ä Battle in the Deep Sea¨.
It was very interesting. What do you think about giant squid? Have you ever seen the one in Te Papa.

Jackś Birthday

This story is about Jackś Birthday. In the story his Dad and Mum give him a car. Jack is happy about his birthday present.

I read the story ´Jackś Birthday´ today with Vanessa and Mr Adams. Vanessa is helping me learn English.  I think English is OK, but it is hard for me. I have been in NZ for one year, before I came here I did not speak any English, so it is a long road for me. I have to read books to help me, even though they seem a little young for me. But if I keep trying hard and people help me, I think my English will get better really quickly.

How do you think you would cope if you went to Brasil and had to be speaking and writing in Portuguese everyday?
